How I Work With Families
Thoughtful Assessment
Before jumping to solutions, we take time to understand what is really happening for your child and family. Looking at the full picture helps guide the right next steps.
Collaborative Process
Parents are an essential part of the process. I work closely with families to talk through concerns, explore options, and make thoughtful decisions together.
Navigating Options
Whether the question involves therapy, school concerns, or other supports, I help families sort through the possibilities and identify what may be most helpful.
A Clear Path Forward
The goal is clarity. Families leave with a better understanding of their child’s needs and a practical plan for moving forward.
Helping Families Find the Right Therapist
Finding the right therapist for a child can feel overwhelming, especially when many clinicians have long waitlists.
Through my work with children, families, and schools, I am familiar with many therapists and mental health resources across the South Shore. When therapy may be helpful, I can guide families toward clinicians who are a good fit for their child’s needs and often help identify therapists who may currently have availability.
Navigating the Right Supports in schools
Parents are often unsure where to begin when a child is struggling. I help families think through the options and determine what kind of support may be most helpful. This can include guidance around school resources such as a 504 plan or IEP, connecting with therapists who may be a strong fit for your child, and navigating social or emotional challenges that may be emerging at home or at school. My goal is to help families move forward with clarity and confidence.
Understanding What Your Child May Need
Sometimes parents simply need a thoughtful perspective on what they are seeing in their child. During our conversations, we explore patterns in behavior, emotions, and social experiences to better understand what may be happening. In many cases, parents leave with reassurance and a clearer understanding of what is typical development and what may benefit from additional support.

Ongoing Parent Guidance
Some families benefit from continued support as they work through anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, or school concerns.
These conversations provide space to talk through situations, adjust strategies, and better understand what your child may be experiencing.
Sessions scheduled as needed.
School & Support Navigation
Navigating school concerns, evaluations, and support services can often feel overwhelming.
I help families better understand their options and determine the most appropriate supports for their child, including discussions around school concerns, evaluations, therapy referrals, or other resources.
When Families Reach Out for Support
Parents often reach out when something about their child just doesn’t feel quite right. Other times it is simply a growing sense that their child may need more support.
You may already have spoken with teachers, counselors, or friends and still feel unsure about what the right next step might be.
It can be difficult to sort through advice, options, and opinions while also trying to support your child.
Our first conversation is simply a chance to talk through what has been happening, look at the bigger picture, and begin thinking together about what might help most moving forward.
If it would feel helpful to talk through what’s going on, you’re welcome to schedule a consultation.
I work with a limited number of families at a time so that each family receives thoughtful, individualized guidance.
